As we enter winter, garden services are now capped at 80 people. In the event of rain all services are moved indoors where seating is restricted to 80 seats. All proposed garden services are based on the weather forecast for that week. If there is rain, a service will be indoors only.

For a whimsical, gentle and natural farewell, the Partridge House Garden offers a shady elm and a relaxing, comforting atmosphere. It can feel more familiar than the cemetery chapels and ease you comfortably into a difficult, but necessary day.
All facilities are available at this location, including the slideshow presentation of photos and music which we build on your behalf, and you may hold onto as a keepsake.
Our funeral planning people work closely with you to optimise this experience and the celebrant will capture the essence of the person being celebrated and remembered.
Partridge House provides a refreshment service if requested in the gardens or inside following the ceremony.

Parking Available
Partridge Street has some parking with disability parking at the front. Penzance Street which runs behind Partridge House has ample.
Fully Accessible
Partridge House is fully accessible for wheelchairs both inside and out.
Refreshments available.
All services have the option of tea/coffee/ biscuits and cake following the service.

Pricing and Location details
- Service held at Partridge House - 80 seats - Traditional Service $5,400
- Service with 130 chairs, additional 30 minutes and additional Partridge House staff and setup $5,800
- Refreshment service +$250 includes Tea/Coffee/Juice with biscuits and cake
For gatherings over 120 people we suggest an additional tea/coffee service for $350 which includes barista made coffee and speeds up the service process, and you get a lovely coffee or tea !
General service times are access from 9.30 (10am service) and departing by 11.45am and 12.30pm (1pm service) and departing by 3.15pm. Any variation to this will incur additional time charges from the venue.
Important
A weather policy applies to all garden services.
Main additional costs
- Transfer from aged care, residential care, private homes or all other public or private hospitals may incur a transfer fee of $350
- Private practice doctors usually charge a fee for required medical cause of death certificates. This will vary depending on the practice but cost from $150 to $400 on average.
- We assist in lodgment of any newspaper notices requested (at cost)
- Memorial cards.
- Hospitality POA based on venue.
Service best suited for
Families seeking a full "traditional feel" funeral service with a civil celebrant to do as much or as little as you require in an outdoor setting. This service is specifically designed for outside with a specific coffin range used and various changes to ensure things run smoothly. Set times apply and refreshments are provided following the service. It can also be used as an indoor service.

This service is available as a fixed price prepaid funeral for an additional fee. All funds are independently invested with your wishes and all products and services detailed.

Fine print
As we can never rely on the weather, this service, in the event of poor weather, can be switched indoors at Partridge House to ensure the service goes ahead.
Full AV television facilities are provided by an outside provider. This cost is included in this package service. As the TV is setup outside under the elm tree there will be glare and shadow issues depending on the weather on the day.
If there is any chance of rain all TV facilities are cancelled for safety reasons.
Set times apply at Partridge House and often extensions of time for a wake are not available.
